Due to health concerns surrounding the spread of COVID-19, GW Graham Athletics has elected to suspend all Athletics activities. Most sport governing bodies have shut down all activities at this point until April 15th, when they will reevaluate the situation. We will provide additional info following the end of spring break, at which time we will reassess health advisories and safety concerns. BC school sports looks to do the same. BC high school sports will continue to monitor the latest from Canadian Health Authorities and provide updates as needed.
The senior varsity boys Rugby team has been training hard for the start of the season. We are still looking for any athletes in the building that might want to try senior rugby. No experience necessary. If you like to run hard and hit hard come see Mouritzen or Coach Etsell in the PE office ASAP. It’s not too late to join Senior Rugby.
RUGBY FOR ALL GRADE 8, 9 and 10 BOYS
If you are interested in playing rugby at the grade 8 and or junior level this year, you must attend a very brief but important meeting at the lunch bell next Tuesday. No experience is necessary. If you want to try a new sport or are a returning player make sure to be at the meeting Tuesday in the second gym at the lunch bell.
Girls Rugby Starts next Thursday!!! Our first girls rugby training session is next Thursday from 4:00 to 5:30 on our back field. This is our girls first training session ever!! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Come out and try a new sport. If you haven’t already signed up, come sign up in the PE office today!!
Training for Sr. Boys’ Rugby is well underway. Training is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 3:15-4:45 pm @ GW. Location and times may change due to field conditions. Changes are posted on the Sr. Boys group chat – see Ms. Etsell to join the group chat.
