Grizzlies come out on top at the 2018 showcase!!!

Led by tournament mvp Geevon Janday, the grizzlies dominated the second half of the championship game against Elphinstone. The grizzlies played solid team defence throughout the game, and overcame early foul trouble, defeating Elphinstone 78-54.

Ty and Jude Hall were named to the 2nd allstar team, while Cole wicker was a first team allstar, and Janday took home tournament MVP honours.

The grizzlies now rear up before heading to Victory this Thursday to take place in the Oak Bay invitational.

Grizzlies basketball wants to thank all the amazing fans that came out over the three day tournament.

Junior and senior varsity football uniform and gear return – Tuesday December 11th and Thursday December 13th

Next week Tuesday and Thursday, all junior and senior football players must return all Uniforms, equipment and practice gear.

Managers will be at the football portable each day from 3:00 to 4:00pm.

The following items should be included:

Shoulder pads

Helmet

Game knee pads

White game jersey

Blue game jersey

Blue game pants

White game pants

Practice knee pads

Additional items some players may have borrowed:

Practice jersey

Program girdle.

Student athletes that do not return items will be charged accordingly.

Grizzlies Provincial Champions once more!!!!

Congrats to the Junior varsity boys football team who defeated Windsor Secondary 69-27. This is the grizzlies third provincial championship in 8 years, and their 8th straight trip to the dome!!

The grizzlies destroyed the all time record for most points ever scored in a provincial championship football game today.

Once again the Grizzlies were lead by Logan Buchwitz who scored 7 TD’s!

Graham athletics would like to thank the coaching staff, medical training staff and managers who have put in sooo much time this season to provide this opportunity for the team!

Congratulations to the Senior Varsity Boys Basketball team who qualified for the Big ticket Championship with a win over Argyle tonight!!!

The grizzlies got their fourth straight win of the early season with a 75-60 win over the North Vancouver Argyle Pipers tonight on the main court at SFU!!

The Grizzlies were lead by Cairo Almarez who came off the bench to take the player of game honours.

The grizzlies will now take on Abby senior in a rematch from their regional final Wednesday night. Abby knocked off Richmond Secondary in the other semi final.

The championship game tips off tomorrow night at 7:00 pm at SFU.
