Graham 93 – Rick Hansen 68 Grizzlies finish the regular season at a perfect 9-0 and Clinch the League Championship.

The senior varsity boys took care of business last night on Seniors night taking down #7 AAA ranked Rick Hansen 93-68. The winner would win the regular season championship and earn the right to host the first two regional games in their own bard this Thursday and Friday.

Geevon Janday and Cole Wicker lead the Grizzlies in scoring, with Liam Dueck, Armaan Shoker and Jude Hall all coming off the bench to play huge roles in the win. This was the Grizzlies 9th league championship in 13 seasons at the AA and AAA level.

With the win the Grizzlies move up to #7 in the provincial AAA rankings and earn the opportunity to host the round of 16 and quarter finals in their own gym this week. The Grizzlies will open up the playoff Thursday night vs #8 from the west (DW Poppy). Tip off is 8:15. Gr 8 Boys Win Fraser Valley East Championship!!

Congrats to the Grade 8 Boys who Defeated Mount Slesse in the FVE Championship game.

Aiden Henderson led the team in scoring with 17. A mid key hook shot off a spin move was his moment. Braeden McDonald got 13 pts & 13 rebs, & was strongly defended the whole game. Paradise Lee chipped in with 9, but it was Gavin Khelah hitting 3-3’s (a season high) who was player of the game.FVE Champs
