Senior Girls Provincial Report

The senior girls volleyball team played 3 top 10 teams today and managed to take down 1 of them on their way to a 3rd place finish in pool play. They lost to Little Flower Academy 2-0, beat McRoberts 2-0 and lost to South Kamloops 2-0. The team plays tomorrow at 11am. A win would guarantee a top 8 finish. Go Grizzlies!

Senior Girls Finish at 7-2

The senior girls volleyball team finished with a 3 set to 2 victory against Yale last night. The team finished with a 7-2 record for the season, good enough for a second place tie. NEXT THURSDAY THE GIRLS PLAY ROBERT BATEMAN. THE WINNER GOES TO THE PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS! NEED SUPPORT. 7 PM IS FIRST SERVE.

Senior Girls Second…..Again

The SV girls volleyball team finished 2nd for the 4th straight year at our host Bear Paw Classic tournament at the Den this Friday and Saturday. The Grizzlies lost in straight sets to avery deserving winner from Abbotsford Christian School. Team all stars were Amanda Duan and Aliya TeBokkel. The girls have their final regular season game Tuesday against Yale. First serve at 7:30. Come out and support the team.

Senior Girls Rolling at Home

The senior girls volleyball team won a huge quarter final game this morning against Unity Christian 25-20, 16-25, 15-12 at our home Bear Paw Classic tournament. Alicia Mathieson led the offense with 10 kills. Amanda Duan had 6 digs — many of them spectacular. Austyn Newhook chipped in 4 aces and Grace Redmond had a huge game passing 25 serves for a 1.4 stat. Come out and see the semi final. First serve at 2:30. Go Grizzlies!

Senior Girls Volleyball Rolls in Straight Sets

The Grizzlies were victorious tonight, defeating the R.E. Mountain Eagles 25-14, 25-11, 25-21. The win moves the girls to 6-2 in league play. Kayleigh Jeppe and Alicia Mathieson both had 6 kills each. Austyn Newhook served up 3 aces, and Aliya TeBokkel passed a terrific 2.14 serve receive stat. Come out and support the girls this Friday and Saturday as they host the annual Bear Paw Classic in the Den. Go Grizzlies!

Senior Girls Volleyball Team Pushes Top Ranked Mission to 4

Your Senior Girls volleyball team lost a tough match tonight against top ranked Mission Secondary 16-25, 17-25, 25-17, 23-25. Alicia Mathieson had 10 kills, Keegan Wong pitched in with 10 digs, Amanda Duan amazed the gym with her athleticism, and Aliya TeBokkel served up 6 aces and a terrific 1.75 pass stat. The girls get a well deserved weekend off. Next up, a road trip to R.E. Mountain Tuesday, October 29th. Great Pride, Passion, and Spirit tonight team!
