Congratulations to the Senior Varsity Boys Basketball team who qualified for the Big ticket Championship with a win over Argyle tonight!!!

The grizzlies got their fourth straight win of the early season with a 75-60 win over the North Vancouver Argyle Pipers tonight on the main court at SFU!!

The Grizzlies were lead by Cairo Almarez who came off the bench to take the player of game honours.

The grizzlies will now take on Abby senior in a rematch from their regional final Wednesday night. Abby knocked off Richmond Secondary in the other semi final.

The championship game tips off tomorrow night at 7:00 pm at SFU.


Final score: (3rd ranked AAA) Graham 83 vs  (9th ranked AAA) Pitt Meadows 57

The Grizzlies were led by Cole Wicker on the score board with 25 points, Geevon Janday had 12 points, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks and 5 assists. Once again for the second straight night the Grizzlies played a huge role in the win, with Cairo Almarez scoring 13 points, Jude Hall with 12 points and the combined bench putting 32 points on the board.

The Grizzlies will now play Abbotsford Senior in the BIG TICKET regional final tonight at 8:00pm at GW Graham.  The Grizzlies have already secured a spot in the BIG TICKET final four at SFU  this weekend.

Christmas is coming to Graham Athletics

The senior varsity boys basketball team was hard at work this morning unloading the first shipment of Christmas trees for the Graham Athletics Christmas tree lot.

The lot will open this Friday.

Lot hours are:

Monday to Friday: 3:00 to 5:00

Saturday and Sunday: 10:00 to 4:00.

All trees are $40.00 and the profit of the tree lot goes directly into opportunities for our student athletes.

Senior Varsity Basketball takes to the hard wood for the 2018-19 high school season.

Both Senior Varsity Graham Grizzlies Basketball teams tipped off last night at inaugural BIG TICKET tournament.

The  Senior Varsity Boys came out flying in their first action of the season, defeating St. John Brebeuf 111-47.  The Grizzlies were led by Geevon Janday, Jude Hall and Cairo Almarez who all had 16 points.  The Grizzlies now play the Pitt Meadows Marauders at 6:30 in quarter final action at GW Graham.  The Big Ticket Tournament continues today and tomorrow, with regional action taking place at Graham. The first game tips off today at 3:30

In girls Big Ticket action the Grizzlies  took down Earl Marriott 61-42 and now play Yale today at 4:00pm at Abby Senior.

Entry fees to the Big Ticket Tournament are $5.00 for adults and $2.oo for students.



FAN BUS FAN BUS FAN BUS!!!! – Come support the Junior Varsity football team this Saturday at the Provincial Championship!!


This Saturday our Junior Varsity Football team will take on Windsor Secondary in the Provincial Championship. We will be taking a Fan Bus out to BC place to support the team.  You can sign up in the PE office over the next 3 days.  There is limited seating so sign up today.  The cost of your ticket and bus fee is $20.00.  All fees can be paid at the Main office.


Come out and support your Senior Varsity Boys basketball team tonight as they begin their 2018-19 BC high school basketball campaign. The Grizzlies tip off their season in our gym tonight at 8:00 pm in the “The Big Ticket” Provincial tournament.

Entry fee tonight is $2.00 for students and $5.00 for Adults. However, any Graham students who come to the game in the Grizzlies Blue and white will get into the game free.
